Jess and Will's Friday Breakfast for Carboholics, Princeton (weekly) (DF002)
Prepare and eat robust breakfasts and learn which ones best stabilize your blood sugar and mood chemistry, tame cravings and set you up for a day of high energy and freedom from unwanted impulses to eat carbs. This meeting is currently closed, but please inquire.
Every Friday, 8:00 to 9:00 am.
Jess found Paleo several years before she found Suppers (in an experiment that was a perfect example of "How you feel is data," though at the time she had never heard that term). Jess deeply appreciates the social support and environment of non-judgement found at each and every Suppers meeting. She loves writing, cultivating community and creating a place of refuge at her meetings. Jess has coordinated several group Paleo "cleanses," and hosts sporadic Paleo meetings as well.
Will is co-owner and executive chef of The Brothers Moon in Hopewell. As a believer in wholistic living, Will believes we eat natural foods in their natural state. With that in mind, he prepares food for the restaurant as naturally as possible and cook them with respect. Will has enjoyed The Suppers Programs since it was a pilot program in 2006. He's been married for over 20 years, has two teen-aged children, and is a very grateful husband, father and restaurateur. "I support Suppers because it helps me understand my brain's need/desire for sweet, salt and fat, and how it affects my behaviors and how it influences my thinking with cravings and addictive eating; because I need to learn, re-learn and remember that if I eat well, I will feel better, and the better I feel the more productive, giving and happy I can and will be; because it makes perfect sense and delivers a logical miracle to me."
