red pepper (chopped) 2
carrots (chopped) 2
stalks of celery (chopped) 1 pound
green lentils (cooked according to package directions) 4 cups

Instructions
Generously coat the bottom of a soup pot with olive oil or preferred fat. Add the onion and other vegetables, and cook until the onion is slightly browned. Add the cooked lentils and broth and simmer for 20 mins or so. Season with hot sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. (Recipeā¦535)
