Vegan Aioli

Ingredients

1 cup
slivered almonds
2 cloves
garlic (peeled and roughly chopped)
2 tablespoons
Dijon mustard
4 tablespoons
lemon juice
4 tablespoons
olive oil
1⁄2 cup
water (plus more as needed)

Additional Notes

Put all the ingredients except the water in a blender or food processor and process for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until fairly smooth. Gradually add the water as the blender or food processor is running. You may need up to 1/4 cup more water to achieve the texture you desire.  (Recipe #856)
