Cranberry Sauce with Dates (instead of sugar)

Ingredients

2 cups
cranberries
1 cup
pitted medjool dates
1⁄2 cup
water
2 tablespoons
fresh lemon juice
1⁄2 teaspoon
cinnamon
1⁄8 teaspoon
salt

Instructions

Soak dates in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain and chop.

Stir all ingredients together in a saucepan over low heat.

Bring to a simmer, and cook for a few minutes, stirring frequently, until the cranberries pop and the sauce thickens.
