Masala Suppers
We are starting a new program just for you: people of Asian Indian origin who want to cook and eat delicious whole food to maintain healthy weight and blood sugar and to manage and reverse food-related chronic illness.
You can attend monthly Masala Suppers hosted by Indian and American facilitators who truly care about health and delicious food. We will prepare meals together, adapting favorite recipes to make healthier versions. We’ll eat together, have presenters on health, and discuss our challenges and sources of joy.
This Month's Discussion Topic: Eating to Stabilize Blood Sugar and Mood Chemistry
This workshop is the basis for all Suppers programs, namely, that if you can help people find the way of eating that best normalizes their blood sugar and stabilizes their mood chemistry, you will also probably identify the way of eating that is anti-inflammatory and generally beneficial for that individual. It is based on our starting Suppers principle that How You Feel is Data! I'll explain when you come.
You must register to attend. We buy groceries based on RSVPs.
Meetings are peer-led and very low cost, about $10- $15 to cover costs.

All are welcome.
