Our Annual Appeal

This year's appeal comes from a voice right from the Suppers table -- a woman named Kristin whose life was ruled by the confusion of food choice and a lack of support in the kitchen. Kristin was referred to Suppers by her doctor and the positive impact it has made on her life has been significant. Once she learned to cook with whole, fresh foods and share meals around a friendly and supportive table, she began to regain control over her own health. For this year's Annual Appeal, Kristin felt compelled to share her story. Here are some excerpts she wrote for our appeal:

"... I have struggled with bad eating habits and weight issues that led to serious health consequences, including gestational diabetes and hypertension, depression, and metabolic syndrome -- to name a few. As I approached 50, I was borderline diabetic and taking an increasing number of medicines. Finally, I was ready to take my doctor's advice and go to a Suppers meeting. It changed my life."

"Suppers has provided me with all the non-judgemental support I need to live according to my intentions instead of my impulses. Just six months later, my blood sugar, inflammation, and cholesterol markers have improved, I have lost weight, and I feel great!"

Please consider a donation to The Suppers Programs during this holiday season. Without the support of people like you, Suppers would not be able to continue our wonderful work. It's so hard to achieve vibrant health when you are all alone at the dinner table. With Suppers you don't have to be. Thank you for your support!
